Most Blessed Sacrament Cathedral - Scheduling a Date

Who has scheduled a ceremony at the Most Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Detroit?  Was it difficult to get the date you wanted?  I'm looking at a Saturday in October next fall (2012), and am curious if they tend to book up fast or you think it's still far enough in advance.

I booked our date about a year in advance, but I think it depends on your date. Summer date's probably go faster than fall (my wedding is in the fall also!)

I booked my date 13 months in advance and if I remember correctly, I believe they do not give you availability until you fill out all the paper work they request on the website, which can be time-consuming.

My Fiance and I booked our date for a Saturday in October 2012 over the summer. It was extremely easy though, Msgr Mike is awesome!
