Dancing shoes??

anyone know where I can get dance shoes? Like the ballroom ones with suede on the soles?

FI and I are taking lessons and the studio can order them but it'll take a month!

Thanks :)

When I used to dance for my high school dance team, we bought our dance shoes from Lucy and Ethel's.  It's in Clinton Twp. off of Canal road.  We didn't do ballroom but they had a huge variety of shoes and gear.  Might be worth calling them, or maybe another dance-gear type store, to see what kind of shoes they carry.

I also recommend Lucy and Ethel's.  When I danced in high school I got all my shoes there.  The staff there is really nice and they can order anything they do not have in stock pretty quickly.

I also recommend Lucy and Ethel's. I danced for 12 years, and I always got my shoes from them. :)

Thank you thank you for the recommendation! I'm excited to try Lucy and Ethels and get a proper pair of dance shoes! FI and I are actually starting to look like real dancers but I swear, not having the right shoes is really holding me back! PS - hi Sam! It's so nice to see you posting again!

Thanks M! I just called Lucys and they said that I should go to toe 2 toe because they have the best selection! I'm loving our classes and we plan to continue taking them after the wedding, so it's probably a good idea to invest in good shoes.
