Would you say you have a "type" when it comes to men?  If so, does FI/DH fit that "type"?

Do you know if your FI/DH has a type and if so, do you fit his?

Hmm the only thing that all my boyfriends have had in common is that they are very intelligent, especially when it comes to math & science. 

I guess they all listened to pretty good music too so that must be important to me (though I didn't realize it til now).

Look-wise, I prefer dark hair, tall, and not super-skinny.

FI definitely fits "my type" though I wouldn't consider his hair to be dark.

Fi is so not my type.
 
First off he is tall like 6'4 tall. I have always dated shorter guys before him.

Fi is also a genuinely nice guy all around. I always went for the bad boys that kept me on my toes. I always joke that if I had meet fi years ago I would have walked all over him and never appreciated him. However, dating all the bad boys makes me appreciate him being a good guy so much more.

Fi is way more of a family man then all my previous boyfriends, This is also one of the qualities I love most about him,

I'm totally fi's type. He always dated brunettes but I'm shorter than most of his previous girlfriends.

I had blond hair on our first date and then between that and our second date I went back to brunette. FI said he was secretly thrilled.

Personality wise, yes DH is what I was always attracted to but looks wise not so much.  I always went for tall, skinny guys with dark hair and dark eyes.  DH is kinda tall (6'1") and blonde hair with blue eyes.  I joke that his gorgeous blue eyes are wasted on me since I don't really notice eyes very much.

I guess DH always had a thing for blondes.  I have never been blonde in my life so I'm glad he broke his pattern for me

My "type" was generally tall athletic guys, generally blond. Kevin is only about 3 inches taller than I am, and while now gray, used to have brownish blond hair.

Kevin's first 2 marriages were to women he met overseas when he was a lonely Air Force member. His "type" was someone single in the area he was stationed, LOL. He also married women who walked all over him. I appreciate him for his kindness, assistance with home upkeep/cleaning, and the fact he is just an all around nice guy. I will NEVER do to him what his prior wives did, so I guess I'm not his "type".

The only trend in men I've dated has been that they have all had red/redish hair...I don't think I'm particularly attracted to that, it's just how things have worked out! I wouldn't say I really have a "type"...for the most part I really look past exterior looks and care waaaay more about personality. If you look like Brad Pitt but are an a$$ I will not find you attractive.

Looks-wise I am most definitely my FI's "type", but personality wise I would venture to say I'm on the more intelligent end of women he's been involved with. I think that's ultimately why we worked out so well - he loves that I have a college degree and can have intelligent conversations with him and his friends.

I guess I am FI's type, I know all his ex gf's were blonde and so am I. I think that would be the only thing though. I gather that I am more laid back and fun than his previous girlfriends.

He is so not my type. I have always dated tall guys with dark hair and dark eyes. FI is a lot taller than me (5'11) but still not as tall as my previous boyfriends. He has blue eyes and has really light brown-blondish hair. Weirdly enough too, all my ex-BF's birthdays fell in the last week of January or the first week of February which I thought was so stange. FI's birthday is in May. I dont think my exes were considered bad boys, but I feel now that they didnt always have their priorities straight or my best interests at heart.

My type = taller/lumberjackish + good with kids + Christian. 

Yes, DH fits this well. Race doesn't matter to me. Tattoos/piercings never mattered either. However, I want someone tall/big that can easily throw me over their shoulder so I'm not self conscious about my body and also because I'm 5' 3", I want someone to balance me out (so I hopefully don't have short kids!) and I can easily wear heels. 

I want someone who is good with kids so I can tell they'll be a great father. DH and I met at a summer camp (score!)

And my faith is really important to me. I think it would be difficult to have extremely opposing views as my SO. 

I honestly don't know if DH has a type but I must have fit because he was head over heels for me before I was head over heels about him...

FI is nothing like any other guy I dated. I think that's why we work so well.  I used to date guys that I thought were confident-turns out, they were just arrogant, cocky and full-of-themselves. Guys that were constantly wanting to go out to the bar/club. I thought that they were fun-loving and just loved being around people. Turns out, they were not willing to settle down and move away from the bar scene. They were always looking for the next best thing. It took meeting FI to realize just how wrong I had been with my previous boyfriends. 

He's the first man I have dated that is family-orientated and genuinely cares about what is going on with my family. He is also the first person to be welcomed with open arms by my grandparents...all the others they didn't bother learning their names.

I don't think I really have a type. Every guy I have dated has been completely different except that I dont like "skinny" guys. The boyish look just doesnt do it for me, he needs to look like a man. Besides that I have always been open to all types. Not really sure what FI's type is, Ive never asked him, but im guessing that I am since he asked me out every day until I said yes :P

It's funny because my "type" or the type of guy I usually go for is soo not my FI lol. I usually go for guys with brown hair and dark eyes and my FI is blonde with blue eyes. funny how life works
