uplighting suggestions?

I'm searching for uplighting for our reception but that won't cost an arm and a leg. Any suggestions?

THe cheapest uplighting I found was diyuplighting.com

but I decided to fo with my DJ - JD entertainment and since I booked them for DJ they gave 15 lights for $13 a piece

My amazing almost husbannd and i absolutely fell in love with uplighting at the grecian center bridal show, we have been researching for it as well, there are lots of options, including some DIY uplighting! Good luck! I hope you find what you're looking for!

 I'm not sure what kind of up lighting you were thinking but my husband did ours for our wedding and it was beautiful. What we did was drape a sheet ( sewn together like a pillow case) over a pvc box about 6ft high. We then put those large LED lights on the bottom so the light wouldmake the sheet glow.  My husband would love to rent them out to others.  Oh we alos put the lights under our cake  and candy table I can post a picture if interested once our photos come back from the photographer.

We're in Dearborn though.
