Daily Lunch Challenge

I've been lurking and posting a little on The Nest here lately.  Every day they post about what they are having/had for breakfast, lunch, snack and sometimes dinner.  Would you girls be interested in doing this?

I'll start:

Breakfast: Cup of coffee

Lunch: Antipasto salad with ranch dressing

Snack: Apple slices and red grapes (the little pre-packaged ones)

Dinner: PB&J on whole wheat grain bread --I have to work my 2nd job and there's not a lot of choices

Are they doing it for motivation to eat right?  The Get In Shape board does it to hold yourself accountable to planning meals, eating right, etc.  Or is it to spark ideas for meals?

    Either way, I'll go.

B: mixed fruit & Fiber One bar
    L: soup & raw veggies
    S: baked Lays
D: Not sure -- going out to dinner w/moms after florist appointment

Lunch: Spinach Salad with grilled chicken breast, dried cranberries, bean sprouts, sun flower seeds and raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
Snack (2): the other half of my granola bar.
    Dinner: TBD.

I would!  Maybe I'll start feeling guilty about what I eat - and clean up my act a little bit.

Disclaimer: I don't have school right now and I work at night, so I don't really wake up in time to eat breakfast Embarassed

Lunch: Salami sandwich on wheat, leftover chips and salsa from my favorite restaurant (which I'll be eating for probably the next week).
    Snack: Yogurt
Dinner: I think I'm going to attempt to make BBQ chicken pizza today.  If I get too lazy, probably just having grilled chicken breasts, baked potato, & veggies.

ETA: FI decided he wants to bring home McDonald's for dinner....how can I resist if he's paying, right?!

i do this on the Nest. It started out for people to be accountable for packing a lunch for work to save money and eat healthier. It is also a good way to share ideas.

Breakfast: Chai tea, yogurt and granola

Lunch: Majaddra, Lentil Indian Curry leftovers, hummus and whole wheat mini-pitas

Dinner: Spaghetti squash with homemade sauce!

I think in general. Ways to save money, more ideas for meals, a way to eat healthier/lose weight

I'll play, but my caveat:  I hate breakfast foods for breakfast.  I'm serious.  And, I'm not a big breakfast eater.  So...

    Breakfast:  Apple juice.

Lunch:  Half a club sandwich on sourdough and a small side of broccoli soup.

Dinner:  Likely going to be some sort of fast food as we have to make it up to Saginaw by 8 pm to drop off my step-daughter and DH won't get home from work until 6:15.  Ahh!

    No snack today.
