Need a good hotel near my Downriver reception

I am having my ceremony at a church in Allen Park, and then we're having our reception at Silver Shores Waterfront in Wyandotte. I have just a handful of guests coming from out of town. Should I reserve a block of rooms somewhere? If so, what hotels are near Downriver that are nice? I do not want to force them to stay at someplace crappy. Any and all ideas are appreciated.

    There is a really nice Holiday Inn, in southgate on Northline.

    My sister also got married in AP, and had her reception ay Silver Shores. She used the Holiday Inn in also. The rooms were nice and the hotel has a shuttle you can rent. It was really convenient, and an added bonus is that the Holiday Inn has a bar for your guests to afterparty!

    Thanks guys. I have stayed in that Holiday Inn before and it's okay. I wish there were some nicer hotels downriver, but it just isn't so. Has anybody been to Comfort Suites in Southgate? I wonder if it's decent.

    I would look in dearborn. If you want to go really nice (and pretty pricey), the Dearborn Inn is gorgeous.
