Help with Colors Please!!!

okay so I've finalized my colors and they're black, white, and yellow. Now i'm trying to figure out how to incorporate them into the reception. The BM dresses are yellow and the GM are wearing black. At first I wanted to do alternating back and white table cloths with alternating black and white chair covers w/sash. The centerpieces will be yellow flowers but now I'm thinking I want to include more yellow and I's unsure how to do so. I came across the inspiration below.

If you guys can provide and suggestions on what to do for linens I'd appreciate it. FI is sold on having both black and yellow.

I like the picture! You could replace the white table cloths with black and use yellow runners, napkins and chair sashes (the chair covers would be black as well).  Then tie in the white with your favors, candles/centerpieces and flowers on the tables, so white would be a sort of accent color.  I have seen a picture with the black and yellow somewhere and thought it looked nice.  I will try to dig it up.

Hey date twin! I agree with ksmith719 above to an extent. But I guess my questions would be these:

- what colors are in the venue? I think black & white goes with just about everything, but yellow is a tough color to introduce if the carpet or walls are not conducive to adding yellow.

- What color flowers are you having the gals carry? I'd recommend white with yellow accents so the flowers show up a bit better against the dresses.

LIke you, my primary colors are black & white/cream, with small silver accents. It sounds as though you want to make yellow more of an accent or "co-color".

You can't go wrong with whatever you decide as long as you haven't purchased too much that won't work with what you want to do.

OMG, I got that Black and Yellow song stuck in my head now! ha

I saw a damask wedding with yellow accents that was super pretty! I also love the look of a few yellow blooms in white vases.

I did an event a few months back that featured black and white damask print tablecloths with yellow linen napkins on the table.  We also used yellow flowers in black lacquered vases.  It was striking and elegant at the same time.

At first I wanted yellow to be my accent color but then I came accross the picture I posted and now I want to have yellow and one of my main colors. Good thing I still have time to make up my mind. At first yellow was my accent color and now I'm having some mind changing issues where I can't seem to decide. I'm more of a need to see in action kind of girl lol. My girls carrying a variety of yellow roses. It's a good thing time is on my side :)
