First time registry stalker

I've been ATTEMPTING to stalk for forever now, and finally someone bought something!  Yay!  

Then came the following conversation between FI and I:

Me: GUESS WHAT!!??!!??
FI: What?
Me: Someone bought something off of our registry!
FI: No way!  How do you know? What did they buy?
Me: Are you sure you don't want it to be a surprise?
FI: No no!  Tell me!
Me: A hand mixer!!!
FI: Oh. *sadface*

I don't think he's going to be excited about much on this registry, lol.  His face was priceless.

    What was he expecting it to be that he was so disappointed by the handmixer?

    That's what I asked him!  And he said he didn't know.  Haha.  The only thing he might be excited about is maybe the tent and camping stuff that we registered for?  Otherwise I'm not sure what he's expecting.

    Guys are too funny -  I'm sure Todd would be the same way if I was stalking the registry.  Although he did really enjoy the registering part but I think that's because he got to play with the scanning gun and not so much picking out towels and measuring spoons.

    Lol that is too funny!! Tell him he should be excited because a hand mixer for you means super awesome baked goods for him :) FI was all excited because some gifts have been mailed to his house...although his excitement quickly faded when he learned we are the proud owners of a chip-n-dip or iron or electric blanket. He wanted to register for a tv...
