Hi Ladies!

I've been MIA for a while- been so busy at work and looking for a house, that I have left a lot of details to the last minute.

Since I'm not in Michigan, I need your help! I'm looking for a salon to go to the morning of my wedding to get my makeup, my BM's and my hair, and our nails done.

I am getting married on Belle Isle, and am staying with my girls at the Omni the night before, so I would like to stay in that area, but if there are no salons in that area, we are willing to drive. Just not sure as to where to go (city) that's closest and reasonably priced. I considered having someone come to us at the hotel, but this is kinda like my bachelorette party and I'd like to get out of the hotel room.

That's a toughie.  Off the top of my head I cant think of any Salons right by you, but i live outside of the city and work in the opposite direction.

You could alternatively drive along Jefferson until you hit the Grosse Points but the salons in there will be pricey.  If you hop on 1-94 or drive farther on Jefferson, and take it down to St Clair Shores which is just a little past the Grosse Points you'd be able to find some Salon's that are more affordable.  At 10 mile and little mack in St Clair Shores I go to the salon Be Global. They are great and friendly!  They will also be doing my hair for my wedding. Give them a call, I bet it's a 20 -30 minutes drive tops from where you are.  They are also on Facebook.
