What do you have planned for the week?

It's a 4 day work week for me, woo hoo!  Thursday night I'm going to the Piston's game with a friend.  She got a suite so invited a group of people, should be a good time!  Saturday we have a wedding to go to at Twin Lakes, the first of many weddings this year, and I'm looking forward to it

I have my 4th and HOPEFULLY last dress fitting Thursday. Im super stressed we wont get the dress exactly right. Wednesday all the bridesmaids are comming over so we can hot pink glitter our wedding shoes! This weekend I need to start mailing out final payments and maybe finish up the centerpieces, and start working on the seating chart.

My grandma and my aunt are coming down on Saturday. And we are meeting with a cake designer, touring the venue(they have never seen it) and then shopping for other things. Veil, shoes, more brooches and possibly go talk to a florist. 

I'm pretty excited about it! The guys in our family have a couple annual hunting trips so instead of going to the casino, us girls are going to do wedding-related things! We're quickly approaching the 1-year mark!

Well, we bought a house this weekend :-) ...pending on inspection.

Going to meet with our mortgage lender tonight to sign a bunch of paperwork.

Inspection sometime this week. 

My work throws a huge reception for student teachers in our department and their cooperating teachers. That's on Thursday, so my whole work week will be planning for that.

Hopefully some answers with BM & GM issues.  Nothing wedding planning related.  Just about finished up with my two remaining grad classes.  Hoping to be done by next week, a week before I have to be.  I'm getting a new student that really isn't mine but due to testing I am going to be responsible for him.  Not looking forward to this as it means I do not have a planning period.  My planning period becomes a study hour for me so I'm bummed about this.  

Started a 21 day total body make over today!  Excited to see the results

Its a 4 day work week for me as well! 

This week is hair/make up lock down, hopefully meeting with the chef for our cake, registering at BBB, and going to Dealer's Discount on Saturday.  Need to start knocking some checks off the list.

After about 10 stores we finally found a shirt and tie to go with FI's suit over the weekend, super cheap (under $40 for both), so that's off the list.  I was amazed that we were able to find a shirt to match our color (peacock), I was starting to lose hope and patience.

Invites are being mailed tomorrow.  Beyond that on and off all week I'll be working on some DIY projects that need to get done, calling to schedule my fittings, and writing TY cards for my shower that was yesterday.

Congrats!  Fingers crossed on the inspection!

The only WR thing I have going on is meeting with a possible DOC tomorrow.  I'm really frustrated though - our church gave us "non-member" pricing, but now that we are members I asked for "member pricing" and they're taking forever getting back to me.  I don't want to be a pest but I need to know for my budget!  The hiring of the DOC depends on the church cost...so it's really important.

Everything that's left!  The wedding is Saturday so...

Finish buying BM gifts (and need to find something special for our reader - she's my cousin and has been BEYOND helpful with the wedding.  At times, she's done WAY mor than the bridesmaids!)

Packing (the wedding is in Frankenmuth and we live in Warren - so we have to make sure EVERYTHING gets packed as there can't be any "running home" to get something we forgot)

I'm so close to finishing the invitations I can almost taste it! I'm going to put the finishing touches on design tonight and then I'm hoping to print out a mock-up to make sure everything looks right actually on & in the pocketfold.

Need to find a new hair person for day-of, the place I was going to go with apparently double-booked and can no longer do my hair. Sort of frustrated and hoping that ANYONE is still available to do it!

Also going to try to nail down the details of hiring some wait staff and bartenders for the day-of.

I had a huge wedding weekend. First fitting on Saturday and on Sunday hair trial and shower.

This week we have our final flower and photographer meeting.

We have to go through all the stuff from the shower. Make some returns and organize.

Also need to get together with my cousin to finish the programs.

5 months to the wedding as of yesterday!

We should be receiving our invitation/rsvp proofs from our graphic designer on Wednesday... so excited to see what's she come up with!

WeI also finalized our ceremony program wording yesterday to submit to the designer, which included choosing our readings, and processional and recessional songs. Now that we have our ceremony outline figured out, we can start writing/filling in the entire ceremony.

On Saturday, we're getting our engagement photos taken! I'm excited but anxious, mostly because we haven't figured out the locations or wardrobe yet. Eek.

And lastly, NWR, we may be closing on our house Friday or Monday! It all depends on when and at how much the appraisal comes in.

We met with the photographer last week and I just totally hit it off with her. It was the 3rd Id met with, and everything definitely happens for a reason! The others I just didnt feel comfortable with, but this one was awesome! Im so glad I found her. She booked my wedding and we signed the contract! One more thing to check off!
