Anyone else lose power?

Because we did this morning!  And I learned a valuable grown up life lesson:  the heat does not work when the power is out - even if you have gas heat.

Thankfully it's back on and I have the heat cranked and am snuggled under about 3 blankets.  I'm trying to convince FI to look at the honeymoon hotel that I want to book so we can book this afternoon :)

What is everyone else up to this snowy Sunday?

We went to my parents for a christmas cookie baking day! But they lost power!  So the boys road four wheelers in the snow and i read a book!

What hotel are you looking into?

Our lights flickered a bit - but we still have power (knocking on wood right now...).

I originally planned to go Christmas shopping, but after one look outside this morning, I decided it was better to stay inside.

So, instead, I decided to cook all day :) We had crepes for breakfast and I made a roast for dinner with sweet potatoes and stuffed tomatoes.

Hopefully everyone without power has it back soon! Stay warm :)
