FI booked a get a way trip to chicago for next month
and...
I GOT MY INVITATIONS TO PRINT... last night i was up until 11 but i got the rsvp and invitation done!

I really wish I had something good to AW. We've been getting stuff done but it's mostly little dumb stuff that I personally don't care about (got flower petals, looking at tuxes for GM this weekend). Hopefully in the next 2 weeks I am going to have a HUGE AW with our honeymoon. I am beyond excited about it. FI and I love traveling and in a lot of ways we are more excited about the HM than the wedding day itself.

I guess I can be excited about booking our appointment with Achatz pies. FI and I don't care for cake so we opted to do wedding pies instead. It will be cool (and cheaper I believe) because we can get more flavors than cakes. We've got our tasting scheduled for Apri 9th along with our meeting for our final plan with our venue.

Here's what we are tasting (and will probably have for the wedding):
-Michigan 4 Berry
-Florida Key Lime
-French Silk
-Raspberries and Cream
-Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl

LOTON01

Not as much of an aw but more of a thank god its handled. Our Trolley is finally booked. By the time fi called on the one I suggested it was booked. So than we wanted to use Wyandotte Trolley, which you can't really book. You send in a form with a down payment and then wait to hear. Yesterday fi sent me a copy of the email that said we were booked for our day. I feel relived and so happy this is handled.

I can't believe how close it is to the wedding.    A little over 3 weeks!

So on to the AWs

- Final payment made for the cupcakes
- Made final menu decisions and bar choices  (we will have Guinness for our St.Patrick Day wedding!)
- Centerpieces done (just need to take a photo to show them off)
- Hotel room upgraded to a jacuzzi suite
- FI wrote his thank you speech

We took care of the most important thing this week....we booked our honeymoon!!!

NWR, but I did my taxes and am RELIEVED to find out I don't owe the federal government money! I had pre-calculated WAY off and thought I owed $3k (I was freaking out)...now I'll actually get money back instead! (I'm going to H&R block Saturday to get a free "second look" review of my taxes just to make sure I didn't miss any awesome credits etc.)

Our first shower is this Saturday and I checked the registry. It had been about a week since I'd looked and not much had been bought. Folks were busy over the weekend b/c lots more was bought...including the Kitchenaid mixer! I'm pretty geeked for that :-)

Finished addressing all our invites except 2!! Bought my shower outfit yesturday. Bought our wedding Thank You's today. Bought my bridesmaids clutches yesturday on Clerance for $9!!!

I forgot I also did this on Tuesday night. I got a cute purple dress from The BCBG outlet.

NWR - I had an episode with my heart this morning (super ventricular tacacardia).  After 15 minutes I decided I was gonna go to urgent care but by the time I got dressed, it stopped.

I can handle it for about a minute but after that I tend to get very irritable!

I bought my wedding earrings and I'm in love! Can't wait until they arrive:)
