Bridesmaid Dresses

Hello everyone! Thank you for all the advice when I was searching for my wedding dress! I went to Bella Rose Bridal in Shelby Township and received amazing service and an experience I'll never forget. I found my dress and can't wait until it arrives!

Since I received such good recommendations from you ladies on my dress, I'm now looking for my bridesmaids dresses. Were getting married in Cancun so I want a beachy dress for $100 or less. I really don't want my bridal party paying over $100, I'm not sure if this is a realistic set point or not? Please let me know if you know anywhere I can start my search!

  • For this, I might try The Limited, Express, or something like that. Limited does have a wedding line (online), but I think they run over $100. But, their regular dresses are usually under $100 and they have a great selection every season. I have several in my closet.

  • For something more casual than your standard bridesmaid dress, you could really go to any women's retail clothing store.  If you can find a style you like in the store, you can probably find the sizes you need online and order them.

My coworker had a casual wedding in Mackinac and found her BM dresses at Fashion Bug for about $15 apiece Smile

  • Bella Rose Bridal Salon in Shelby Twp, MI....WOW...what a piece of work. I went in with my "BRIDE" as I am in her wedding. First of all the owner of that ghetto  and dirty salon is a piece of work! The walls are painted black to set the stage for the dark cloud that reigns over your entire experince.  After weeks upon weeks of false promises my bride was told that her dress could "no longer be worked on" conveniently after the seamstress called her on 4th of July weekend to cancel her fitting. Come to find out 3 weeks after they had her dress, she did NOTHING to the dress besides staining it with a giant black oil stain and refusing to finish the work after my bride had paid almost $400 in alterations! We both had scheduled an appointment with the owner to try and solve this situation and the owner was nothing but an unprofessional business woman who swore at us, waved her finger in the air and threatened us with her "lawyer". My bride left in tears as the owner told us that she hopes "nothing ruins her wedding day" in a snarky tone. She made additional threats suggesting that bad things may happen to my bride before her wedding day!!  I was appalled by her unprofessionalism, threats and pure pettiness. She even made kissy noises to me as she was telling us she would no longer help us. Mind you, the alterations were a pure scam, my bride is no bigger than a size 2 on a fat day and they ordered her a size 8!!!!! TELL ME THAT'S NOT A SCAM when you are charged close to $400 in alterations!! Had the correct dress size been ordered for her, it would have fit her like a glove, no alterations necessary. Clearly with the cheap looking set-up of the "botique" they need the money. My bride gets married in 5 weeks, if you want stress, drama, tears,  and abuse, Belle Rose Bridal in Shelby Twp is the place for you!!!! Ask for the owner she'll hook you up with a horrible experience!!
