Help me spend money :)

I found this dress online, I'm madly in love with it.  If we can come up with at least 2 occassions I can wear it, I will buy it.  Currently I can think of 1...maybe.  I could possibly wear it to a showerin a month but it's a bit too formal.  I won't wear it as a reception dress because I refuse to change out of my wedding gown.

Personally, it looks like a bach party dress to me.  If you look where it hits her on the leg, it is really short which to me only makes it appropirate for going out to the bar.

Yeah that's a really good point. B-party will be in October though.  Is it appropriate for me to wear white in October at wedding related events?  I'm iffy about it.

In terms of the length, I'd have to try it on, but I'm only 5'0"...with curves, so usually the dresses are a bit longer on me.

i think it's too sexy for a shower dress.... i agree in the b-party dress, but that's only one occation. IMO- it's a beautiful dress, but not worth the $. especially to wear a white $160 dress to the bar which could possibly get crap spilled all over it. (but thats just me)

Yeah dammit. I think the decision is that I can't justify the purchase

I like to justify things in my own way ;) like maybe "I'm going to get MARRIED, I've been planning this wedding like crazy, and I totally deserve a splurge on ME!" ;)

Maybe a bon voyage dress. There's no way I'm trying to get in a car and go back to my suite in a full ball gown! But that would be cute to throw on last minute to say goodbye in. Still, that's one time and a lot of cash.

Where are you going on your HM?  We are going on a cruise and have a formal night.  That might be a good place to where it too.  What about your rehearsal?  You are the bride.
