Vase rental?

Does anyone know of any place to rent flower vases?

Re: Vase rental?

  • I don't, but there is a place in Centerline that sells vases in various sizes from small to large, for VERY reasonable prices.

It's Dealer's Discount Floral, on 10 Mile Rd, just east of Van Dyke. They aren't open on Sundays, but have later evening hours and Saturday hours. It's a very large warehouse of tons of silk flowers, candles, vases, ribbons, tulle,  flower holders of all types, plus tons of wedding related items for bouquets, centerpieces, etc.

They have the very large glass trumpet vases, large martini glasses for centerpieces, plus every other size you can imagine. The last time I went these large glass vases were to the far left wall when you walk in. The aisles along the far left wall are also wedding related items.

I have found their prices to be about 1/3 less than Joann's and Michael's, and if you buy a membership for (I think) $25, then you get 50% off the asking price of everything, which is already lower than most stores.

Allow yourself about 2-3 hrs to go up and down all their aisles, because it's amazing what they have.
  • Thanks, I'll check it out!
  • I'm sure you can do it if you use an event rental company or something like that. I also don't know if any florists maybe offer that service. Mine didn't, but I used an independent florist, maybe the bigger flower shops have more to offer.

I'm selling vases that I used in my wedding. They're IKEA, and a couple bucks cheaper than than the store. The link to pics/pricing is www.detroitwedding.weebly.com
