This might seem stupid but...Directions on the website....

 Ok so our invites are small and simple so Im trying to set up the website for the guest. So here's the thing, im trying to set up the direction's page what I dont know is where to start them from. 

  It's pretty simple I 94, to metro prkway/ 16 MI exit and then from there are a few more steps but again it's fairly simple. My question is can I simply start the direction's from I 94 or should I go on step further like I 69 to I 94 and so on for those who are coming from the Port Huron area and other outline areas?

   We have people comming from Lansing, Jackson and even out of state

   Or dose that seem just a little like over kill. Cuz I kinda feel like by doing that I saying they are to stupid to figure out how to get to I 94.

I would think guests could figure out how to get to I-94 on their own. If you provided directions from one city (like Port Huron) then it would seem you should also provide the directions from Lansing, Jackson, and so on, and that would just get crazy. With the internet and maps and all that stuff, I didn't even provide directions for our wedding, and everyone found our venue just fine

yep agree with Sam.  We assumed everyone knew how to get to 696.  most people have computers anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about it. They can map it out on Bing maps or whatnot.

If you don't think you have enough you could always do basic directions from each direction and do sections like:

Coming from the north:
basic directions go here

Coming from the east:
basic directions go here

etc.
