Is this for stamps? I used to do a lot of stamping when I was youger and I think I used a heating gun for embossing. Is this like what you're looking for? I'd check Michael's or JoAnn's.
Yes, that should work just fine. Also, make sure you purchase the embossing powder. It's powder that you sprinkle over the stamp and then heat it using the gun to make the ink rise. (Unless the ink that you are already using is an embossing kind)
Does that make sense?
I was also going to suggest that you might be able to find the gun at Wal-mart or Meijer if you don't have a JoAnn's or Michael's by you.
Now, lol I'm sorry for asking so much, what kind of powder should I get? I'm thinking of using white paper, and I want the stamp to be black, or maybe red. Or is that the ink color with clear powder?
You can buy the desired color ink (black or red) with clear powder separately or find an embossing ink in the desired color (black or red).
If you choose the embossing ink route test it out on a blank piece of paper before doing your STD's. Some inks go for different looks, kind of like paint, you know? crackled, distressed, etc
They have clear powder for $2.79 and I have a promo code for 10% off total before shipping... so with one jar and the tool its $26.46 with shipping... I'm sure ink isn't horribly expensive right?
I used a white embossing ink pad with purple embossing powder. This worked well for me, because I made a mistake a few times (stamp was crooked, or didn't stamp legibly). I just let it dry and then restamped over it. Couldn't even tell I made a mistake.
You might also try Michaels, I got all of my embossing supplies there except for my heat gun (bought it on clearance from Walmart).

Should I check the Wal-mart website first??
Also I completely understand about the powder!! Thanks!
I checked on Wal-mart's site and they look to be a little bit more expensive ($24.88 and I don't think that would include shipping)

Not a problem at all.
