MMPP

What are you up to this week?  Will it be a light planning week because of the holiday or do you plan to be super productive because you have a few days off?

I am only working Monday and Tuesday, which is nice because...

I have 2 exams and 1 project, I plan to start the thank you cards, and I plan to clean/organize our new place since I've NEVER lived this messy before lol

Oh and a party Wednesday night, Thanksgiving on Thursday (of course), and I haven't decided if I'm going Black Friday shopping yet or not

DH and I are driving to Kzoo Tuesday night and then we'll be leaving super early on Wednesday for the drive to Minnesota.  We'll be back Sunday night.

I haven't been home since Christmas so I'm super pumped but I am not looking forward to the drive.  Although I have my nook all loaded up with so many books I couldn't possibly get through them all.  So if I'm MIA this week it's because I'm gone.  As usual, feel free to start the morning threads and get yourselves chatting :)

I am not planning on doing anything wr this week.

I need to get the house clean, and work on some cooking for my cook book I am doing.

I also am going to the Red Wings game on Wednesday night with work.

Tuesday night is Fi and I engagement anniversary. We won't be spending anytime together until Friday because he has to work every day. We are both off all day Friday and plan on spending the entire day together. I am really looking forward to it.

This is a crazy week for me.

I only have to work today through Wednesday after some debate about Friday.  I'm so happy for that.

I have a test tonight though which I'm not looking forward to.  I missed the lectures because of my conference so I feel kinda lost.

I really need to crank out some of my apps.  A number of them are due December 1st so I need to get moving.

I'm also going to hopefully do some WR stuff but we'll see if that happens.

Not planning to get a whole lot done. I'm working today and tomorrow and then have the rest of the week off. A friend had a baby last week, so I'll probably make my way out to see her, and then FI and I are planning to watch the parade on Thanksgiving before heading to my parents. I live right on Woodward, so I think I'll make us some breakfast and have a little quality time doing that before dealing with family the rest of the day!

No WR things. It's 6 months away and I honestly have no motivation what so ever to finish the planning. I'm beyond stressed and i'm procrastinating and I know this.

I have the usual this week.... doctors appointments. MRI tonight, Surgeon on Wednesday and Cardiologist Friday to get surgical clearance for surgery on Dec 2nd. Oh, what a life I lead! Also, I'm taking care of my sick 5 year old who not only has a fever, but also has a dislocated hip. I used to like the holidays, but they're too complicated now and not how I remember them as a child. Usually from now till after January, I'm pretty depressed due to the holidays. So I'd like to just zoom by these next few months.

This is a super productive week for me since FI and I are actually up in MI where we will be getting married. STD's are being addressed and sent out. Tomorrow we have 2 florist appointments and are meeting with our officiant.  Finishing up the wedding website. Possibly going to our ceremony/reception site to check out some things.

Turkey trot is Thursday! Woo hoo! Excited to get it done and stuff my face and watch the Lions!

This week is My favorite week of the year :) Working M-W and doing a test-run of the desserts each night. Last night I made my first apple pie - looks pretty, but not sure how it tastes yet - I brought it in for the guys at work. Tonight is pumpkin pie night. T-day will be spent with both families :) DH and I are going to Chicago on Friday for the MSU-NW game and a fun mini-vacation. Hope everyone has a great week and a happy thanksgiving :)

Beginning the name change process today!  I am headed to the scoial security office today and then secretary of state tomorrow, after that I get the luxury of calling EVERYONE I have accounts with to change it in their system.  Awesome.

I also am planning on getting back into working out, which doesn't seem like good timing because I am going out of town for a couple days.  We need to go to the laundromat or purchase a washer this week, haven't done laundry in 2 weeks and it is about time.

We still are figuring out Thanksgiving plans.  It will be 1 of 2 things.  Plan A)  Go to Rochester Wednesday night, stay with my birth mother's family.  Wake up go to Thanksgiving at my aunt's house in Plymouth with my entire extended family and drive back to Grand Haven after dinner.  Plan B) Drive to Plymouth on Thursday morning, celebrate Thanksgiving at my Aunt's House and head to Rochester to stay with family that night.

Either way we are thinking about Black Friday shopping, but not sure yet.  DH has only done it once, and I never have.  I always work jobs that require me to work on Black Friday (either hotels or retail). Growing up I never went because my mom hates shopping when it is busy and she would rather just pay more and go a different day.

Oh and sending out dozens of job apps every day.

Have a great Thanksgiving week everyone :)  As my BIL said, it is his favorite holiday because people just get together, enjoy good food and good company and it is not focused on the materialistic or financial stress of gift giving.

</div><div>I'm debating on whether or not I want to do the name changing stuff on Wednesday or just wait until mid-December when I'm not in school and not working. I know it's a lot, and I'm not worried about it, but I'd rather do it all at once (like over the course of an entire day) instead of spread out here and there and whenever I find time. </div><div>
</div><div>And I love Thanksgiving for that reason as well. I absolutely LOVE buying gifts for people (well, depending on the person...) and wrapping gifts and baking and yadda yadda ya... BUT I don't like how people get super concerned with all that stuff. I'm okay with just sitting around, eating and conversing. [:

My week will be pretty busy! And hopefully consumed by a lot of this wedding!

Yesterday I had a "Moms and 'Maids" afternoon at our house and it really got me motivated to get my butt in gear! I can't believe its been over a year since we got engaged, and we haven't accomplished too much! It seemed like there was too much time, and now it seems like we're running out!

On the top of my list; get a photographer!! Even if it's just multiple appointments to meet with them - it needs to get done! I also want to get all my "visions" organized.

Other than that, just work and hanging out with family - my sister is in town for the whole week!!

Hope you ladies have a great holiday week!!
