Okay so 3 of my bridesmaids have had their dresses since early April. My out of town bridesmaid kept putting off ordering hers. Finally a few weeks ago she calls me and says she ordered it.
Now in Jan I sent her the info on where to order her dress from , the same place all the other girls got their dresses from and who is an authorized seller of Watter's gowns.
Today she calls me and says they sent her the wrong dress, which she got last Friday. And the place won't give her a refund or exchange it for the right dress. Well thats because she ordered it from some place in China which makes replicas not the place I sent. She saved a whole $15 ordering from this place and getting a replica instead of getting the real dress.
Apparently she has been calling a ton of bridal salons trying to see if she can get the dress, but since she only has 5 weeks and rush delivery is 6 weeks its basically impossible to get.
She says the dress doesn't look anything like real one, except its the right color. It doesn't have any of the ruching and has a train. I think its really cheap looking and poorly made.
So what should I do about this? Do I let her stand up in this dress? Do I ask that she not stand up?
I just don't know what I should do. Any thoughts?
***EDIT****** OMG She just called me she has been trying the dress on INSIDE OUT. Apparently it looks like it should (or at least a good replica). Out of Control
