Picture locations between Detroit and MacRay Harbor (Harrison Twp)

We're getting married at a church off Woodward in Detroit, and willl then take 94/Jefferson up to MacRay Harbor in Harrison Twp.  The wedding is in the fall, so I'm looking for a nice outdoor area with some trees to take our pictures between the ceremony and reception.  My options seem pretty limited on that route, so I'm hoping for some ideas!

Personally I'd focus on your beginning and end point. There are great options in Detroit if you want to head downtown and take some photos there (Comerica Park, riverfront, just walking around, etc.). Then, you can head directly to Mac & Ray's and take some along the water there.
