Wedding Nightmares

I've had two.. now - I'm sure all the drinking, eating and time zone hopping I did the last week had something to do with it.. but I've had two very VIVID and scary wedding nightmares in the last few days.

In the first one - we had the wedding on the wrong day at the wrong place.. and no one could find the dj.

In the second one - the FI got ready to attend two weddings at the esame time on the same day - only to find out that I wasn't invited to one - so he made me go to the other one and hold his spot... and while i was at the wedding - I ran into a couple having a baby shower at the end of the month (in real life).. when I woke up I remembered we hadn't rsvp'd for their shower..

I must tell you that last saturday we attended our 3rd wedding in a row and this coming saturday is the 4th. We finally get a wedding break (we've been to 5 since we were engaged... and we have 3 more right before our June wedding)..

 I'm anti wedding planning until next month when i get a breather..

oops - I got a little off topic.. any one else having WeddingMares?

I had them not long after we got engaged, but I havent in awhile. That might be because i haven't actually planned anything in forever though. I have really gotten lazy.

I had the first one a few weeks ago....I was incredibly stressed and overwhelmed, worried that I wouldn't be able to get everything done in time for the wedding, and it spilled over into my dream.  in it, we didn't have menus, programs, namecards, a seating chart, a card box or MUSIC (yet the DJ was there).  there was no music for anything.  everyone kept asking me if it was what I wanted and I just kept screaming at them that it was clearly NOT what I wanted, who has a wedding with no music.  I happy to say, most of the projects listed above have been wrapped up (including the music selections) so everything will be fine!

I've had several in the last week:

• In one, I forgot to give the reception venue a final headcount and didn't do a seating chart, so they came to the church to make me do it before everyone got to the reception (I've had this one twice!).
• In another, I got to the reception and realized I forgot to make my card box, so people decided to just take their cards home because they figured if we didn't have the box, then we didn't need the money.
• The day before the wedding, I was cleaning out the closet and realized I forgot to send out half of the invitations.
• I had one where I was going to wear my mom's wedding dress for the ceremony, which is GORGEOUS--all lace from the early 60s...but in my dream, it was HIDEOUS (high-neck, all lace EXCEPT the shoulders which were pouffy satin). As I was walking down the aisle, I was telling everyone that I really didn't pick out the dress, that it was my mom's. In the same dream, I had on bright red lipstick (which I never wear) and because I got so sick of my long, hot hair, the morning of the wedding, instead of getting it done, I had it chopped to my chin and chunky bangs cut. Also, in the same dream, the guy working the music played the wrong song as I started to walk down the aisle and then fell asleep. I got into a big fight with him in front of everyone.

Whew. No wonder I've been so tired lately...
