Wedding night hotel suggestions

I am looking for some sugestions for wedding night accommodations in the Detroit area. Our reception is in Livonia and I would like to stay somewhere within a 30 minute drive radius. So far I am considering the Motor City Casino Hotel downtown and The Henry in Dearborn. I'm not too worried about price, but if I'm going to splurge, I'd like the linens to be soft and the room to look a bit nicer than your average room, KWIM? So, if you have any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate the help!

The Book Cadillac in Detroit is amazing.

We stayed at the Westin Detroit Metro Airport, and it was fabulous!  It's actually in McNamara terminal, but I thought it was REALLY nice.

Book Cadillac or MGM Grand. I'm staying at the Antheneum this weekend.

The Antheneum has amazing rooms as well. I am having my wedding there and have the penthouse suite reserved. It is beyond amazing.

I agree with PP about The Antheneum. My parents just went to a wedding there and stayed in one of their blocked rooms. They showed me the pictures and said it was AMAZING. Also, there is Greektown which is nice too.

I've stayed at the Atheneum and they have great rooms, some suites. I'm really not into the bedding, so don't really remember it. But the bathrooms are lush, with deep jacuzzi tubs, surrounded by block glass walls.

I haven't been to the Book Cadillac, but remember when it opened how lovely the pictures looked. It's really supposed to be elegant.

I haven't stayed at the hotel at the RenCen either, but would imagine they have some really lovely rooms with great views of the city, river, etc.

I have stayed at the RenCen a few times. Some of the rooms have amazing views and some lack views but the hotel rooms themselves were just ok. They weren't bad by any means but they weren't over the top nice either.

I stayed at the Henry in Dearborn the night before my wedding and its also where we had everyone get ready (hair/make-up). Loved it! I would recommend even staying there the night before- so many great photo opportunities there.

I work downtown so we get discount at many Detroit hotels, so I have stayed at almost all of them. I would say Motor City is by far the nicest hotel out there. The beds are amazing and the bathroom is awesome. So that would be my suggestion :) Enjoy!
