Re: Invitations

  • I plan to completely DIY mine, ordered paper samples from a couple of different online sites and now I'm working on the design.

  • Paper and pockets is from cardsandpockets.com, a friend is designing them, and I'll likely print everything at Staples. Then I'll assemble them. So I guess that's partly DIY. No pics yet :-(

  • Complete diy. I've been stocking up on cardstock for my pocket folds, and I'm designing and printing all the inserts. Definitely jazzing them out with rhinestones too. I've been looking forward to making these the most out of all my projects.

  • I also ordered pockets from cardsandpockets.com and I got my paper at Michaels. printing myself. I used wedding divas.com (or something like that) to get my Logo and I just added a border and downloaded free fonts.

I'm partially DIYing mine.  I'm getting the paper with text from vistaprint and making the pocketfolds myself plus doing assembly.

  • I'm still figuring out what I want to do, but I think I'll be ordering a set from Etsy and then printing it out myself (or at a local printing company). Whatever ends up being least expensive.

  • I did mine through Weddingpaperdivas.com

They actually just came in today!! They turned out so good! I saved a lot of money and it was very easy. They've got gorgeous invites, you should check it out!

  • I am partly DIY. I bought about 5 boxes from Michaels from their BRIDES collection and will be printing and assembling myself. It was a cheap option for me in comparison to some of the websites I was looking at, plus the color goes perfectly with my wedding colors.

This...but with a lot of help from my mom.  Our invitations were something I barely cared about but ended up being one of my favorite details...they went out in August and people still have been telling me how much they loved them.

  • I am doing partial DIY you could say... I am using a photograph I took myself of the Mackinac bridge at sunset, adding text then printing through (probably) Vista Print
