Our company had a "not so good" meeting the other day. Let's just say I'm getting ready for plan B! Which is school and possibly a new JOB! I got some info from another knottie (you know who you are) Thanks!

But I am looking to see if there are any other options out there, just so I can be comfy with my decision.

So... who's hiring? Anybody?

I'm going to be in your position after the wedding.  I am really ready to start looking for new jobs, but the last thing I need right now is one more thing on my plate.

It really sucks Julie! But I know that I have to make some moves..but I guess I am so tired from planning the wedding, that I just don't feel like thinking, learning or finding a new job! LOL

Okay, I work for a public accounting firm and we have hundreds of clients in a variety of fields.  If I hear of anything, I will definitely let you know!

FI had one of those unfortunate meetings at his office yesterday and he went home and immediately started working on his resume.  If we weren't getting married in three weeks, he may very well have quit yesterday.

I work in advertising Brandi!!  But we are not hiring right now.  Just in case I see an opening, what specific area are you?  Project management kinda stuff?

@ Julie It really doesn't matter. I am about to  try to get into what I want to do which is more event planning, tourism, public relations type stuff.

Good luck Brandi. I know, it sucks to have that feeling like another shoe is going to fall. I've been through it.

Everyone, try to stick with your jobs. Most companies pay a severance, and if they have enough employees (I can't remember the number), they have to provide you with 60 days notice (federal WARN act). The only time they get away with not providing 60 days notice is if there is a significant corporate development.
