I just got a fine tip sharpie at JoAnns.  It was only $7, the same pen at hobby lobby was $10!  And don't forget to use a 40% off coupon, they're in the paper all the time.

I got a fine tipped something at Michael's.  Just look for something that says "archival."  That way it won't run/eat through the pages later.

ETA:  Whatever it was that I bought was like $2 and worked great!
