    What's your proposal story and when did it happen? In December of 2010, after I got home from Christmas shopping with my mom,  Jesse gave me a dozen pink roses and had me get all dressed up for a nice dinner.  We battled intense rush hour traffic from Ann Arbor to Rochester and ended up being late for our reservation :( The Chop House was incredibly accommodating and still sat us right away even though they were on a very long wait.  We enjoyed quite possibly the best meal of my life then we went for a walk around downtown Rochester and looked at the lights.  When we got to a block where no one was too close to us he pulled me close and said how much I mean to him, then he kissed my forehead and got on one knee where he said "Ally, will you marry me?"  Of course I said yes...and cried.  Then we walked to our favorite coffee house, Dessert Oasis for coffee and dessert and Jesse even had some of my family waiting there for us.
    Favorite detail of the wedding so far? My favorite detail is either my dress or photographer.  We just booked our photographer this weekend and I am so excited about their work.  Usually our package costs $5500 but they dropped the price down to $2800 and that made it affordable for us.  I also love my dress, just slightly disappointed because I wish it had a deeper sweatheart neckline.
    What's been the most stressful part? My mom and I don't see eye to eye on everythin, ever.  With my parents paying for the wedding that has been a huge headache. We are learning to communicate better though.
    Will you do any DIY projects?  If yes, which ones? I'm not totally sure yet.  My mom wants to DIY some invites so I need to price things out and see what is the best value.  I thought about DIYing our STDs but I think we decided to just order photo ones.  There is a DIY ring bearer pillow that I totally love and completely matches what I want for my bouqet so I think I want to do that.
    How did you hear about TK message boards? When afriend of mine got married a few years ago, she talked about them a lot.

    ]Where are you going for your honeymoon? We aren't sure if we can afford one yet unfortunately and I don't know if I will be able to get that much time off work.  If so, we really want to go to an all inclusive resort in Jamaica.
    What are looking forward to the most when the wedding is over? The cheesy answer: I can't wait to be married to my best friend and start a family together.
     How many people in your wedding and how to you know them ? 3 on each side
    MOH: Younger sister
    BM: Best friend from college
    BM: FSIL
    FG: FIs neice
    Possibly my other sister as a FG too
    Best Man: FIs best friend since he was like 5
    GM: FIs BIL
    GM: One of my brothers
    Rb: FI's  nephew
    Possibly one of my other brothers as a RB too

    Do you have any pets? Yes, FI and I have a 2 1/2 year old black domestic short hair, male cat named Maverick and a 1 1/2 year old black lab named Colt.
    What is your fav drink? (alcoholic or non)  I really love Vandermill hard cider from Spring Lake, MI.  If you buy it to take home, you buy it in a wine bottle, but some bars in West Michigan serve it on draft (which is the best way to drink it).
    What is your fav season? I love fall
    What is/will be your fav registry item? Definitely a tough call between our kitchen aid mixer and our mixer.
