Hi! I had posted a question about someone having taken their wedding photos at the Detroit Zoo, and someone responded telling me that you took your enegagement photos at the zoo.

what were their requirements?  I read somehting on the website about a photography contract.  The zoo is right by my hall, and I think it would be a blast to take wedding photos there, so any information you have would be great!

I've tried contacting the zoo a couple times - and I keep getting blown off, and I get the same guy every time I call, and he tells me to email my questions - and the email he keeps giving me doesn;t even work, so I am very discouraged, but I would still really like to do this!

Hello! I just didn't tell them. From what I read on their website the website, it stated that pictures taken for non-commercial purposes...which I interpreted to mean, you and your photographer are not going to sell them to someone else...

We went right when the Zoo opened for the day to avoid the crowds, and no one said a word to us.

Thanks!  I think that's just what we're going to do as well, obviously, we'll be dressed for a wedding, but we meet the requirements of less than 10 people, and obviously, they are our wedding pictures - we're not going to be selling them.
