This is too good to pass up.. Kinda late for some of you ladies (as she will be gone to China for the summer) but for us 2011 brides - she seems to be perfect.

I plan on having her make my bridesmaids' dresses.

Thanks for passing that along Detroitgyrl. I may get in touch with her later in the year. I already have my fabrics, embellishments and patterns. I might just ask her to do the sewing for me. I could do it, but know it would take up a lot of my time. I obviously have to wait until closer to the wedding, like next spring, before starting it myself. I also have a friend I've known over 40 years who made her daughter's wedding dress & prom dress who I might ask to do this for me as a gift. Still debating.

Wow... AMBITIOUS! Unfortunately I don't sew a lick. My FI's mom is altering my dress but I don't want her to have to think about the BMs too.. This girl already got back to me and told me to stop by when she gets back in August. I think I LOVE HER! lol

GL with your dresses - let me know what you decide to do. That would be ULTRA cool if your friend could do it for you. I'm ALL about having friends do what they do best. :-)

Detroit- I've been watching this seller since she signed up. Did you notice that the dresses will be shipped from China b/c "she's going with her husband"? I will bet money that she "never comes back" according to her shop. 

This is not a one-woman show, it's just a Chinese dressmaker getting rid of the middle man. Like the ones on ebay. 

Not that these dresses won't be gorgeous! 

But if you'd seen the shop and the things that were written when it first opened it would've been just as painfully obvious to you. GL! Just want you to be fully informed

I spoke with her - she says she'll be back in August and gave me her cell phone number (616 area code) .. told me to stop by one day so we could talk. Doesn't seem fishy to me. But I'll surely check her out. Thanks!
