Help me!!

I've now entered a minor "Oh crap" period.

The wedding is less than 8 months out.  The big things left that we still need to take care of are Florist, Bakery, Officiant.

We originally were planning on having a friend of our families who is a judge marry us, but we just found out that he can't actually do it at our ceremony site..we'd have to get married in his courthouse beforehand and then "fake it" for our actual wedding. FI and I have decided that we'd rather not do that. So now we are looking for an officiant. We are getting married at Greystone in Romeo.  We don't want a very religious ceremony (both Catholics but aren't exactly practicing), but rather something spritual.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

The florist and cake we are going to try to knock out Thanksgiving week. We live in Cincinnati so it's been hard getting to vendors. Again, any recommendations would be excellent. Cheap = good

I've scoped out the stickies, just asking on here too :)

Kevin ... Twigs & Branches Floral.  I promise you will LOVE him!  He is very fun to work with and does excellent work!  I'm doing cupcakes not a cake, it actually ends up being a bit cheaper that way.  If you're out of town this may be a good option for you because you can order directly from the website .... I'm using The Cupcake Station.  Hope that helps.

Can't help you on the officiant: Our DJ was our officiant, and while a good DJ, not a great officiant.

Flowers: I got mine from Costco. You can order online or at a Costco store, 20 piece white rose package was $399. I also ordered 8 dozen white vendella roses, 70 stems of white asiatic lillies and 2 large bunches of baby's breath from the florist at the Costco in Roseville (I-696 & Gratiot). They only cost me $177 and I didn't have to pay for any shipping. Arranged my own centerpieces. Check out the "floral" link on www.costco.com. I know Sam's Club has something similar.

Cake & flowers together: Try Vince & Joe's Produce in Clinton Twp or Shelby Twp. They do flowers, have bakeries and cakes......... not sure if they have wedding cakes.

Papa Joe's in Rochester Hills also has cakes & flowers.

Nino Salvaggio on Hall Rd in Clinton Twp also does flowers and cakes.

These are fairly close to Romeo, not sure where you are staying when you are in town.

I am using Dynamic Flowers in Royal Oak.

I can't help with really with the two other things though. We are having a church wedding and our Cake is included in our package at our venue. Dynamic Flowers is amazing though.
