Artistic Photographer Recommendations?

Good morning Ladies!

I'm so happy to finally have our venue booked! Next we're looking at photographers, and I'm feeling a little lost. I know that I'm drawn to a more artistic style, and I like candid and fun shots - something lively and non-traditional. Does anyone know of a good photographer with prices preferably under the $2000 range?

I'm using Weddings by Amber and Adrienne. They have a more artistic style. However, I think they only have on package under $2000.00. I would check them out though.

We hired Justin Munter. He has a unique style, very aristic and non-traditional.  We had our engagement pictures done and just loved them.  Feel free to check out my wedding website, all of the pics in the photo section are from that session.

Well we have Amanda Williams and she's fantastic, and really affordable - we're paying $1500 for full day coverage, engagement shoot, and rights to ALL prints.  She's super fun and she has a great eye.  Not sure if she's considered "artistic" but she has some great shots.

We are using Studio L Artistry in Photography, Lance Thomason owner and main photographer.  We are paying $1949, the biggest package they have.  Comes with two engagement settings (day and night), large framed picture for your hall, cards to pass out thanking everybody and where they can see the pictures with a picture you choose, a signature ablum with 30 of your engagement pictures, rights to ALL pictures, am album, two photographers day of and as many pictures as he can take!  They do have smaller packages.  The pictures are amazing and he is great to work with, we call him Uncle Lance!

I used Sandy & Tim with The Camera Chick.  They are awesome!!!  I'm sure they are well within your budget.  If you are interested in seeing some of their work, look at them on Facebook.  I think they are around $1800 for unlimited hours and full rights.  They were so fun to work with and I just really love their style.  Good luck!

I absolutely love our photographer, shes very accomodating and reasonably priced. Her work is gorgeous and shes funny and friendly and makes sure youre happy with everything.

We are using Kelly Dobson out of Plymouth. Our package was for 1900 and it is for 8-10 hours. I know she has one cheaper than that for 1500.

Wow, thank you all so much! These are all great suggestions...now I might have a hard time choosing....but not's certainly not a bad problem to have!
