Just wanted to introduce myself.
I have been watching the knot for some time but just got around to joining.
I am really just getting started with my planning. My wedding is in the Brighton area.

I am careful to share too much info though. A friend of mine from New York used the knot quite a lot and someone tried to cancel her venue for her.
Fortunately the mgr of the venue contacted her before following through.

Hi. I'm just getting started here myself.
I heard of that happening to someone else once.
They had a password with all their vendors to avoid anything like that happening.

Welcome to the board.

I wouldn't worry too much about things getting cancelled on you.  Yes, it may have happened once but I'm sure there is more to the story than that.  I'm sorry it happened to your friend though.
