Processional - Bride song

Today I met with the Director of Music at church to figure out what is going to be played. I think I'm torn between two songs for my entrance:

Canon in D Major

Trumpet Voluntary

I really like them both, initially I was thinking Trumpet Voluntary but then I heard Canon in D Major and said - thats the one !! Now, I'm not so sure, Trumphet Voluntary sounds more defined for a bride to me.

What do you think ?

    I vote Cannon, but cause I'm using it.  I've always know that I wanted to use that song.  Trumpet would be good for the exit song.  I might use it for that, still thinking on that.

    Have you heard Hornpipe ? I'm using that one for the Recessional, but know that you mention it Trumphet would be good for that as well. thanks

    I also voted Canon because that's what I walked to.
    I've always loved that song. It was perfect! :)

    Never heard that one before.  It's nice, similar to trumpet.  I'll add it to the list  I have the other ones picked still trying to deicide on the recessional.

    We used Canon as well... I love Trumpet Voluntary, but I prefer it with- go figure- the trumpet! We only had a piano at church.

    I used Canon as well. The BMs walked to the beginning part, then the "grand" part was saved for me.
