What would you do if......

10 days from your wedding your venue coordinator is not returning your phone calls to set up a final meeting?

Imagine your FI has left several voicemails with this individual (because you made him deal with her because she's a total spaceball) this week trying to make an appointment. She's been out of the office apparently the last couple of days, but HELLO??? Check your voicemail??? You have a wedding being held at your facility next week that you haven't been paid for yet!!!

She is the only venue coordinator, so there is no one else in that department to talk to. I have no idea how many tables we can fit in the two rooms we booked so I cannot really complete my seating placement nor my seating chart until I know for sure. Nor can I let my florist know the correct amount centerpieces I will need for said tables.

Do we start drama a week before the wedding and call the club manager? If we don't hear from this girl today, I am seriously going to go bridezilla. This is the ONLY thing that has not gone smoothly.

    Eeek!

Is it a small venue?  If you go there will someone be there to greet you and help you out?  I know she's the only coordinator there but if you show-up and put this on someone elses shoulders, I'd think they'd work hard to track her a$$ down!

Or maybe you could call the club manager and not make a big deal out of it (so that she doesn't get in trouble/start drama) and say that you belive she's out of the office but you'd like to talk with someone about the detials.  Can you talk with him?  Can they suggest someone else to talk to?

Good Luck - she does need to get on the ball!

Ditto pp. Just show up and track someone down. Also call the manager and complain. Good luck!

If you can go in person I'd show up and ask to talk to someone. If you can't go in person call and ask to speak with a manager and simply explain that you need answers to these questions and she's not been in the office to help you.

I don't fault the lady for taking time off - we're all entitled to a vacation - but someone there should be able to answer questions while she's out.

Apparently FI got in touch with her and we're going in there tonight.  She was at some work conference. I still think FI  needs to talk to someone above her and address the issues we've had but I don't know if he will.

I wouldn't be so stressed about it if this didn't happen every time we try to get in touch with her- which has only been twice since our tasting at the beginning of February! We had stuff we wanted to do at the reception that we just dropped since we couldn't get an answer from her after multiple messages and emails requesting she call/email us back. I'm just really disappointed in the level of customer service this place is providing. I don't expect to be Queen Bee of the Universe, Most Important Bride in the Galaxy, but it's not like I'm calling every other day.

I guess my main worry is that this lack of attention to detail is going to spill over to the reception and something will go wrong on their end. That's why I put my florist in charge of decorating (yay Liz from The Parsonage my favorite person ever!), but I don't want to be worrying about this for the next 10 days.

Thank goodness I can vent here!!! lol
