Amanda Williams--just one photog?

I've been reading the rave reviews about Amanda Williams and am very interested in having her shoot our e-pics and wedding (next May). My only concern is that it looks like it's just her and I was really hoping for two photographers. Is that an option or did any of you who used her wish she would have had a second shooter?

Most photographers generally are just one photographer.  That being said, I'm sure they could contact one of their photog friends and have 2 there the day of the wedding.  Just e-mail her and ask, it's worth a shot.

Beware though, Amanda books up ridiculously fast.  I contacted her in February of LAST year for my wedding next month and she was already booked.  If you want her, contact her ASAP.

Most photogs can bring along a second, but make sure to ask if the 2nd is a fellow professional or if the 2nd is an assistant (or in some cases...the persons husband or wife). Ask about the professional history to get an idea about the 2nd or ask to see a portfolio.

If you are hoping for a Saturday in May 2012, she is already booked :-( I tried to book her for any Saturday in May, June or July and her schedule is already full! Maybe you will get lucky and she will have had a cancellation!

What's your budget?  There are a lot of fantastic photographers in a variety of price ranges.  Check the sticky at the top of the board for recs.

I'm little flexible on budget--hoping for $3000 or less. I looked through vendor post, but am not sure who is closest in style to Amanda!

There's lots of good options in your price range.

I recommend checking out the websites of those in the stickies, to see for yourself who is closest to what you want.  Ladies on the board have enthusiastically recommended Pure Amour Photography, Lovella Photography, Camera Chick, Amy Boeve, Benjamin David Photography...the list goes on.  You have lots of options!

I second Amy Boeve.  She's amazing, I can't wait for her to shoot my wedding next month.  She's $2500 for all day photography, printing rights, and an e-session.

But ditto PP about having LOTS of options with that budget.
