We will be asking my fiances godfather to do the blessing at the reception at dinner.  Do I have to get him a boutonniere? Who do you think deserves a boutonniere or corsage?

I had my godmother do the blessing. We got her a corsage. Really the only reason I asked her was because my mother was adament about my godmother a corsage. I told her then we have to get my godfather a bout (she hates my godfather) and H's godparents flowers as well. She said there was no way in hell my godfather was getting a flower so our solution was to have her do the blessing lol. I know that's horrible. So long story short, I'd get him a bout.

Our parents got small bouquets (or bouts). Our readers got corsages/bouts. Our grandparents got corsages/bouts.

My dad did the blessing. But I think if you're having the godparent do it, it makes sense to give them a bout. I consider their role similar to that of a reader.
