I was wondering if anyone knows of a dance troop  (like can-can  dancers) to hire for a wedding recetion in the metro detriot area?

    I don't, but just wanted to say welcome to the board. Check out local dance schools. I'm betting there are some that teach it to students.

    You might try googling...........I found everything "out of the ordinary" for my wedding by googling.

    Well I don't know if they do the can-can, but I am hiring a gentleman and his dance partner to come in and teach my guests how to do the Lindy-Hop and the Charleston.
