Plus Size MOB Dresses

Hi ladies.  I know that someone had this conversation a long time ago, but I thought I would bring it up again.  Does anyone know bridal salons that have a decent amount of plus size Mother of the Bride dresses?  My mom is fairly young and most of the dresses that are plus size look like they belong on someone that is 70 years old.  If you have any recommendations, please share.  Thanks in advance!

bombshell bridal in scs has a decent amount..probably 25+...
and they aren't that pricey either..

Bombshell bridal is all plus sizes (12+) so she should be able to find something there.  I've seen some decent dresses a mom could wear from there before.

agreed w/ PP, also try David's Bridal. i saw some there last summer.... she may be able to also find a modest BM dress that would be approperiate.

I would check DHGate.com. It would be ordering from China but they custom make the dresses to your measurements. You just need to have any alterations done locally.  I haven't bought there yet, but I'm very tempted. I have bought beads and other items from there, but not clothes.

I have credit cards for Macy's and JC Penney.........of course I get all sorts of "coupons", then just HAVE to go look at their merchandise, LOL.

Both have really nice "MOB" style dresses, some are actually pretty modern, not "old lady" looking.

We never did get to Allesandra's in Warren (on Hoover n of 12 mile), but I recall when I was there they had some.......but they might be pricey.

Sue, we looked at Alessandra's.  That is where I got mine from.  They were very pricey and a tad bit too old looking.  I think we will try out Bombshell Bridal.  It will be hard for me to not look at bridal dresses there since most of them will actually be able to fit me!
