I've been waiting all week!!

We found a new Reception venue. The lady there is so nice and willing to work with us. The room is huge and beautiful!! The Hellenic Cultural Center in Westland.


I've started back on my invitations and wrap around labels and cake taste testing has begun!

I am SOOO excited, I got the contract for our ceremony site last night! I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks but I have it and at the price we discussed in our meeting!  Just need to print and sign it...one less thing to worry about, YAY!!!!

I actually had my high school prom there...its nice!  Congrats on finding a new venue!

Had our tasting & the food was WONDERFUL!!! I have had some really bad reception food in the last year and was really worried about this.

Also finishing up these invites, I think I shoud be done this weekend :-)

FINAL finished my timeline!  This was a real task, I really had NO idea how important it was, glad its done.

Just got an e-mail saying my invites have been shipped and should be arriving in the next 1-2 weeks!  Hooray!  Can't wait,  Just in time for starting to assemble during my winter break

I'm so happy for you Kayla!

I finally finished putting together our invites.

It only takes 1 first class stamp to mail them! I am super excited about this!

We started dance classes this week and I think I'm going to like it.  FI probably won't want to keep it up after the groupon lessons end though.

The bridesmaid dresses arrived Monday!

AND...FH managed to get $1100 knocked off the price of our honeymoon! I don't know how he did it.  He says it's becasue he's awesome.  I agree.

For me-
NWR- I got accepted to Grad school at OU! I am so excited, it's a huge relief!

WR- Been working on a lot of DIY projects lately:) Things feel like they are really starting to come together!

Lol - I can't believe you waited for AW Thursday to share! Congratulations! It sounds like things are right back on track :)

I'm so excited because the UPS tracker says that my STDs were delivered today, but I wish I wouldn't have found out, because now I just want to run home and see what they look like. This afternoon is going to go by super slow!

My sisters (MOHs) and I found awesome BM dresses on Tuesday. I actually want to buy one for myself I love it so much!

I also decided on a china pattern - Cypress Point by Kate Spade :) I wasn't super interested in china until I found a pattern I loved - now I can't wait to get it :)

Congrats Kayla hopefully I will be right on your tail in the next few days. I only have one thing to AW about and that is I ordered my cake topper from Crafty Eddy today. I have been at a stand still on wedding stuff since the reception hall debacle so it felt good to buy something. I can't wait to see it.

Rings, both sets - CHECK!
Men's Suits and ties - CHECK!
15 passenger van - CHECK! (we opted for this instead of a limo - only $159)
My Dress, shoes, veil and jewelry - CHECK!
STDs mailed - CHECK!
Website - CHECK!
Decor - CHECK!
All my BMs have their dresses - a few have their shoes - CHECK
DJ - CHECK!
Photographers - CHECK!
Photobooth - CHECK!

I can't believe how great it feels to be so far along with everything.. But I guess that's what happens when you have 18 months and a checklist. :-)

I have another i forgot to share: I started eating healthy on monday and lost 3 pounds already! Do you think I can lose another 7 in the next 16 days? ha!

NWR :I have 2000+ dollars of tuition that I didn't use that I can put toward a car which brings the total to like 3000 or 4000. My MIL said before that after christmas that they would add a 1000 to the thousand I already had so I could get a better car. But now that I have an extra two they might not, well see. But IM GETTING A CAR!!!

Second Im in my first fashion show:)

WR: Im going to use part of the two thousand dollars to buy my wedding dress:) Can't wait untill the check comes in! And I don't know if I mentioned this already but I found the place setting we're going to use at the wedding from the Dollar Tree. So it's only going to cost a little less then $200 for all the plates and glasses:)

WR: Nothing to AW about.  I haven't planned anything or done anything else WR other than post on TK. 

NWR: Finished printing out invites today for our baby's FIRST BIRTHDAY!

Eddy is done with my cake topper already and I just placed the order today! AW he is amazing.

NWR: FI started his first day of work today!  We're both excited and its a huge relief for both of us.  Also, I got a good job lead with a company out of Texas and I could work independently in MI.  Sounds like it would be really good! 

WR: I designed our invitations and couldn't figure out how to print them at home and cut them to the right size.  So we found a printer who will print them for cheap!  I'm really excited about not having this looming task anymore!  Onto other DIY projects!!!

Also both WR and NWR: I'm slowly learning how to deal with my MIL, its a learning process but it will be much healthier!

WR-- ordering our BM dresses tomorrow. Finally decided on one and last bridesmaid is sending in her measurements tomorrow. Also, I had my first dress fitting last Saturday and finally fell in love with my dress!
