Flower balls/kissing balls

Can anyone suggest where I can order/buy some ros flower balls some in red and some I'm white.... I'm looking for the kind I can use on the pews during my ceremony. Thanks in advance.

  • Well I do have a wonderful florist if you're looking for someone... I'm just not using her for that cause she only does fresh flowers and that's gonna cost a fortune.

I made my own, they are pretty easy.

This was for our flower girl to carry.

I went to the dollar store and got styrofoam balls, I think they were two 4 inch balls for $1. I got the roses there as well. The roses are made of foam, which sounds weird, but they more realistic looking than the silk ones. I got the ribbon there too.

I cut the stems of the roses to about an inch, punched them into the styrofoam, with a little glue on the bottom of the flower to stick it better. I made a bow out of the ribbon, and used one of the pieces I had cut from the rose stem, about an inch long, formed it into a U shape and stick the ribbon to the ball to make the carrying part/hanger.

I think one ball took me about an hour, and the cost was under $5.

If you don't want to make them, Save On Crafts has them for sale, but they are more than $5 each. Right now they only have white or green. You could also google "silk flower pomander balls" or "silk flower kissing balls".........I found almost everything for my wedding by googling.

  • I found it is cheapest to make them yourself but they can be time consuming.
