This weekend I celebrated my 28th birthday and had my first bridesmaids meeting. The birthday celebrations started on Friday with a great dinner with friends followed by cake and drinks at our house. Then Saturday started the day off with lunch with my parents and sister followed by my bridesmaids meeting. I presented each lady with a will you be my bridesmaid cookie from cookies by design with a lovely poem that expressed exactly how I felt. After lots of laughs and some near tears came their surprise to me.... A lovely journey pendant to represent the journey my FI and I have been on and the one that is ahead of us. After that party FI and a few friends went out for some live entertainment which was so much fun in itself. Rounded the weekend off with party #3 with both his family and mine over to the house for a lovely BBQ and drinks. This weekend was awesome. Full of good times and great people. I took the day off today to recover and get ready for this week. I could not be happier or feel more loved this weekend was awesome. I hope you ladies had a great weekend as well
