Just an FYI (if anyone finds this in a seach).  The owners of this business were both members of this board...and created another "Knottie" to advertise their business.  This is 100% against the board rules and they were caught.

Taryn, its very likely that they bought it.

For about 2 months I was getting phone calls (mind you I've never posted my phone # here) from vendors whose services I had 'won' at a bridal show. Um, I have NEVER in my life been to a bridal show. Most of the people got really awkward when I said I had never attended a bridal show. They were like, oh, um, well nevermind.

Curse the bastards selling people's info!

Mistakes happen, clearly, but it is still spam since it was an unsolicited email.

Guys look- Clearly it was an accident we can clearly see who the owners are and they have appoligized.  Just let it go.  At least it was an accident instead of true someone-bought-your-info- spam.  I get wedding spam all the time and that sucks, but this was just an honest mistake and no harm to the company should come of it.  Just let it go. Its clear that these ladies didn't mean any harm (or even to sell anything to her) by it.

Yeah, you did.  LOL!  I had received a spam email last night from a vendor...but it has since been cleared up as to why I received the email.

LOL! Well it would stink if you received an email for a photographer AFTER you've gotten married.  LOL!   

I should take your advice though and create a wedding related email.  My dad already spams my inbox as it is with all of his jokes.  ha ha
