Looking for small ceremony location - Metro Detroit

We are getting married and having a reception in July 2013. However due to our circumstances, we would like to get married this December. The ceremony in December will only be family members - 12 adults, including us and 11 kids, all age 6 and under. I want something very low key and not too expensive, since we will be having a ceremony and reception in July for everyone else. Does anyone know of a location in Metro Detroit, possibly a restaurant or something that would work? We are going to do it on a Wednesday (12-12-12) and I have family coming from Howell, Almont, Madison Heights and New Baltimore, so I was thinking some where on Hall Rd would be semi convenient for all parties involved. We would like to have everyone out for dinner after, that is why I was thinking restaurant. I will be wearing a dress, but not a gown for this ceremony. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!

  • Concorde Inn at Hall and Gratiot has a Promenade that you could use. Its very pretty. Will probbaly be decorated in Christmas, it costs about $700 to rent.

  • I was looking into the Macedonian Cultural Center, very cheap prices for reception!...but they do hve a church people can use. Only requirement you have to be Christian. I dont know what religion you are but it might work. Haent been to the church yet, but the hall is nice. Its on the corner of 19 and ryan in sterling heights.
