Some of you may have seen this already. It's not often I have a chance to do a relaxing walk through the store to look at new products. In the baking goods aisle at Kroger I found "True Lime", "True Lemon" and "True Orange". It's cold pressed and crystalized real citrus products. I bought one box, which is 32 packets (one packet = 1 large wedge of citrus) of the True Lime. I've been adding one packet to my water every day and it's great. It was $2.99 for a box of 32 packets.
They have a website with recipes. Basically, any recipe that calls for lemon, lime or orange zest or flavoring can have this substituted for it, and it's way easier than trying to find inexpensive fruit, especially during the "off seasons".
Their website is
www.truelemon.com . Hopefully you can find some recipes..... every time I've logged on, I get to a page or two, then the Microsoft error message that says "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem" and I have to close. But they have recipes for marinades, seafood, desserts, etc.
Just thought I'd pass it along.
