With the snow-pocolypse coming, I figured we could do a winter related Tell Us Tuesday.

Do you like winter?  What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up?  Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow?

Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)?

Do you like winter? Yes, but not the 18-inches-of-snow-cold-icy-three-hour-commute-home winter. What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter? Fav: That I can live in my Uggs. When it's snowing, the view from my office is pretty. Least fav: see above. What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up? Watching the school closing announcements like a hawk (I still watch them lol). We lived close to a good sledding hill, too. Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow? I can work from home just as easy as being in the office... Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)? No, but I always guess at what it will be.

Do you like winter?  Overall, yes. 

What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  Favorite: looking at the snow fall.  Least favorite: people who can't drive in the snow.

What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up?  Being able to go back to sleep after seeing my school was closed. 

Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow?  I work for retail.  We don't get snow days.   I'm off tomorrow anyway, but I'm hoping the roads are clear Thursday when I go back.

Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)?  Not really, but I still like to see what he predicts.

Do you like winter?  Yes, I love the look of winter but not the terrible drivers that act like they've never seen snow before.

What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  fav. Snowboarding!!! I'm very bummed i've not had a chance to go yet this season, hoping soon tho.  least fav. terrible roads/drivers

What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up?  building snowforts and sledding and ice skating outside.

Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow? I don't get snow days and I cannot work from home so I hope it's not bad, I won't want a 2hr drive to work when it's normally about 20 mins.

Do you like winter?  I like winter in December but it can go away now
What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  favorite thing is probably the look of everything outside when we get freshly fallen snow and least favorite thing (like most people around here) are the bad drivers!
What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up?  Sledding!! I still love it!

Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)? Not really but its fun!! with all this snow I doubt he'll even be able to come out!

Do you like winter?  I LOVE snow.  If there is snow on the ground, I'm happy.

What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  I hate when it's cold, grey and raining.  I'd rather we have 12 inches of snow than for it to be grey and depressing.

What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up?  I loved it when we'd be playing outside and we could smell that my father built a fire in the natural wood fireplace.  Going inside to have hot chocolate and the roast marshmellows as the best.  We skiied/snowboarded a lot growing up too....and that is always fun.

Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow?  I got one TODAY!  I'm in Dallas for work, and my customer (a city municipality) shut down because of the ice/snow.
I NEVER get snow days....so this ROCKS!

Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)?  The groundhog is cute....but I don't believe in the myth.  It's going to be cold until late May no matter what.

What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up? I actually loved the snow when I was younger.  Snowball fights with the neighborhood kids was awesome. I also loved pond skating.
 Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow?  I told my boss that if we get the amount they say my car won't make it in but I will try to make it in because I hate being behind at work.

Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)?  It would be nice if he says that winter is almost over just because it would be awesome to not freeze on our wedding day.

What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  Fav: snuggling in a nice blanket and still being a little chilled Least: having to drive in the mess with awful drivers.
What was your favorite snow day activity growing up? School closings so I could get extra sleep 
 Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow? Absolutely, My boss thinks I am going to work from home. Umm No remember I asked for a work computer and I was denied so I wont be using my personal computer for work purposes. Sorry about your luck see you when we open back up!
Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)?  I don't know about believing the myth but I hope he says that winter is close to being over I am tired of it.

Do you like winter? In small doses. Right now I'm over it.
What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  Being in a winter wonderland with the branches covered in snow/ Having to drive in snow and ice while being terrified the whole trip, also having to wait for my dog to take his time to do his business in sub-zero temperatues.
What was your favorite snow day activity growing up? Watching school closings and doing a dance. 
Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow? Yes! I'm leaving early today and will work from home tomorrow. The boss already OKed it! I just have to commute from my bed to my den since I take my computer home every night.
Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)?  No but he's cute and it's fun to watch.

Do you like winter? I like it in the beginning, in December and around Christmas time.  But it's far too long for my liking.

What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter? Favorite: I suppose the beauty of it.  Least favorite: Being cold & having to scrape snow off of my car.

What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up? Sleeping in, going sledding, and snowmobiling in our backyard (we had a mini snowmobile when I was growing up - now my family has a regular sized one but I've never used it).

Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow? Yes!  That would be awesome.  It'd be like I pretty much wouldn't have any class at all this entire week if that happened.
Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow) Definitely not.  It seems like if he sees his shadow, wouldn't spring be coming early because it's sunny?  I never understood why the shadow means more winter.

What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up? Growing up in Georgia, I only saw snow once prior to moving here.
Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow?  I am praying for it, but according to my supervisor, everyone is expected in.
Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)?  I really don't know. I'd like to think that a little animal can tell the forecast, I'm hoping for early spring!!

I live in Seattle so no snow days for me this week

 What's your favorite/least favorite thing about winter?  I hate it being so cold and miserable feeling outside so much.
What was your favorite snow day acitivity growing up?  Building forts in the snow and tying my sled to my dog (alaskan malamute) who would love to pull me around all day in the street.
Are you praying for a snow day tomorrow? No use, I have to go in tomorrow to finish a project thanks to it being time sensitive and started a month ago.

Also, do you believe the myth about ground hog day (since it's tomorrow)? Nope.  Phil or whatever the ground hog's name is always "sees his shadow" because of all the cameras taking pictures of him.
