So we are planning a wedding in FLINT MI and The Knot does not have an option for that. Anyone know of or have a review for receptions halls in FLINT Mi, or surrounding areas, Fenton, Grand Blanc, Lapeer, Burton, basically surrounding areas of Flint. Thanks

I lived in Grand Blanc last year and I will say the 1 thing it's got going for it is golf courses! Check out the Captain's Club at Woodfield, Copper Ridge Golf Club, and Atlas Valley Country Club. There are others in the area too. I don't have any personal experience at any of those places but they look beautiful and might be a good place to start.

Look at the local vendors under the detroit michigan area I do believe there are some venues that come up in those areas. I would even do a google search for local golf courses. There is a really pretty golf course in oxford which is just down M24 from Lapeer called Boulder Pointe which is really pretty, we looked into that place but there interioir colors just didnt go with our wedding colors but a friend of ours had there wedding there and it was beautiful. Good Luck!

I live near Flint and depending on your price point, there are quite a few golf courses in Grand Blanc or hotels in Flint/Grand Blanc area that are really nice. Genesys Banquet Center at Genesys Hospital is great too.

My wedding is going to be at The Captain's Club in Grand Blanc on July 5, 2013. We are very happy with our decision. The price isn't horrific, the wedding coordinator, Kerri, is PHENOMENAL, and the room and grounds are gorgeous.
