What does/did your wedding cake look like (PIP if you can!)  Or if you haven't decided yet, do you have an inspiration pic that you want to post?  What flavors is/was it?

What is your favorite dessert?  Is it only for certain times of year (ie Christmas or Thanksgiving)?  Bonus points if you can post the recipe.

We aren't doing a wedding cake but instead we are incorporating a dessert table into our candy buffet! And all the desserts are going to be mini so people can take them home in their take out container with their candy! This is probably one of my favorite things we are doing!

My favorite dessert...hmm that's a hard one because I have a super sweet tooth...I love brownies, anything with oreos, and everything chocolate and peanut butter!  My FMIL makes these mini desserts that is basically a chocolate chip cookie shaped like a little cup (put in a mini muffin pan) filled with peanut butter and then topped with chocolate frosting..I could eat these all day!

We are doing a pretty simple cake.  Some of it will be yellow cake (FI's favorite), and some of it will be chocolate spice.  A friend from college is making it, after we did a couple cake tastings and weren't happy.

It will look a lot like the picture: white frosting, green hydrangeas, and navy ribbon.

Here is my cake inspiration!!  Sadly I think Im going to have to let it go, as the quotes (10) to have it made keep coming in over 1K  :-(

Thanks for the work around - I would have never thought of quoting....

We haven't finalized our cake yet, but it will look similar to this (just without the flowers on the top). It will be vanilla cake with dark chocolate mousse filling.




My favorite dessert is limoncello or pistachio gelato from this shop in Windsor. My favorite dessert to make is biscotti, because FI likes them

What flavors is/was it? We had two flavors. Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache Filling, and White Cake with Raspberry Filling. The outside icing was butter cream.

What is your favorite dessert? As far as baked goods go, I love cheescake. Chocolate, Raspberry, French Vanilla, Pumpkin..Doesn't matter, I love it all
