Grosse Point War Memorial Reception

Hello everyone! My FI and I will be getting married in a catholic church downtown and want to have our reception nearby without being downtown. I am looking into the Grosse Point War Memorial for our repetition, does anyone have any recommendations for close hotels. We will be having a lot of out of town guest and I want to make it as easy as possible for them since they are not familiar with the area. We would also prefer a hotel that offers a shuttle. Any advice would be great! Thanks!!

Parkcrest Inn - 313.884.8800 - $69 for a King, $79 for two doubles, and they are providing a shuttle to the ceremony and reception

Holiday Inn Express - 586.285.5800 - $75/night, no shuttle (though that doesn't neccessarily mean they don't offer one)

we did our wedding there and had our guests stay at the hampton inn in clinton township. they offer a shuttle. I am from the Eastside, and would not consider Parkcrest Inn.

We had our ceremony in Grosse Pointe and reception at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. We and many of our guests stayed at Motor City and we hired our own transportation through Lavda Limousine in Warren. They have shuttle buses and are very familiar with the hotel and the entire metro area. It's right down town but it was a great experience. It's also near an express and major roads, so its easy to find your way around.
