Hello,

I am new to the board!

I am looking for a DJ/up-lights for my wedding next year and these are the two that I have found that have a price in our budget so far.  I'm just looking for any reviews or any other suggestions.  I couldn't really find any reviews for jac entertainment but he seems nice and responds fast.  Any other input would be great!! Thanks everyone!

First off, welcome to the board!

As far as DJ crashers, I looked into them but wasn't that impressed.  What is your budget exactly?

Many knotties who are already married have posted reviews of their vendors.  Currently, their reviews are at the top of the thread list with a thumbtack next to them (aka stickies). 

I can't recommend my DJ enough.  He was Mike Ziamba, owner of The Music Butler.  He was amazing to work with, always helpful, and went above and beyond what I expected. 

I spoke with many DJs before I decided and I picked Mike because our attitudes matched, we had the same ideas about many things, and he could make the music actually sound like its supposed to.  I know this may sound like basic stuff but you'd be surprised how many "DJs" out there are unable to connect the bass and treble correctly so the music sounds right.

Thanks! I am hoping to stay around or under $1,000 for DJ and lights.  Thanks for the suggestion, I will look him up!

I met with saxon from DJ Crashers. He was so awesome and he has made it very obvious that he will do anything he has to in order to make our day go perfectly. He was the first deposit FI and I put down because we liked him so much.

 That was our budget.  Mike was $800 for the ceremony music, microphones, and the reception music plus lights on the dance floor (5 hour reception).

I just put down a deposit for Pro DJ Services. (grosse pointe)
They have very reasonabl prices, and im on a strict budget!
Jason is awesome to meet with and I know he will make my
wedding very fun!
