Silver Shores Waterfront in Wyandotte

Has anyone had their reception at Silver Shores Waterfront in Wyandotte? I'm looking for pricing and opinions. Thanks!

We are having our ceremony and reception there next year.

With two hors'doerves (sp?)  and a buffet dinner, (salad, rolls and butter, three entree choices, a pasta, potato and vegetable), plus two signature drinks (non-alcoholic)  it averages about $53.00 per person including taxes and service charges. That includes the cutting and serving of your cake.  We are not having alcohol at our wedding, so that would be an added expense. It is an extra $1,200.00 to have the ceremony there. We really thought that was a lot of money to add, but in the long run, that's where we chose to get married, so we are paying it.

It is close to where we live, so I drive by there every so often, and there are weddings pretty much every Friday and Saturday.  I have been to one event there in the past year, and the food was amazing. Seriously good. I have also spoken to numerous people who have been to weddings and events there and raved about it. My FSIL's niece just had her prom there and said it was the best food ever, and just beautiful. So, we are looking forward to it. There are numerous other venues downriver that are less expensive, but we want to get married by the water, so that settled it for us. Congratulations, and best of luck with whatever you choose.

My friend got married there two years ago.  It was absolutely beautiful and the food was great!!  Being down by the water made for gorgeous pictures outside.  I would definately recommend it!!

    I'm getting married there in July 2013!!!!  I have been to other events there and its great!!!!
