MMPP

How was everyone's weekend?  What does everyone have planned this week?  Any major planning?

Re: MMPP

  • I am booking the limo, booking the cake tasting, booking the florist, and finalizing my BM dress decision this week!  It's a big week, but I'm so excited :)

  • DH and I FINALLY signed the paperwork on our new house.  It's official.  We are building a new home and should be moving in by early to mid-fall at the latest.  I am so excited.  This week we have to figure out all of our exterior options.  Oh and DH started a new job today.  Lots of exciting things going on in our lives.  Just nothing wedding related.  Yesterday was our 3 month anniversary.

  • I did enough planning this weekend to last me a while! I don't want to hear about table linens, plates, or centerpieces for MONTHS!

So, needless to say, there is no planning scheduled for this week. Just going out for dinner tonight for my BIRTHDAY :-) and hopefully having a relaxing week.

  • this weekend i spent forever doing my invitations in publisher, only to find out i guess i dont know how to print them on my pre cut paper :( so this week will be spent trying to figure out what i am doing wrong, printing and putting them together.
  • I had a really good weekend.

-Wwent to the Dirty Show on Friday (name is totally appropriate and accurately describes it)

-Saturday I FINALLY picked a dress! I also signed a contract with Just Baked to reserve a cupcake tower. FI FINALLY went to check out one of the places we're considering getting catering from (I feel like we're REALLY behind on that step of the process)

-Yesterday we met with Tammara of Grand Jour Events and I'm really excited to sign on the dotted line with her - it'll be a load off my shoulders for sure.

    Overall I'm feeling VERY accomplished.

  • We're getting close (at least I think!) to booking our HM...so hopefully this week!

I'm going to go to the Cinci bridal district today and try to find some hair accessories and earrings. We'll see...

  • My weekend was ok.  I was kinda sick so not too much occurred.  I think I became sick from just trying to do too much.

WR: work on assembling invites more and working on more pomanders.
NWR: tomorrow I'm dealing with the credit union for the preapproval for a mortgage since we didn't go this weekend, applying to jobs, and working on some scholarship apps.

  • So I am finally back at work a week after my surgery.    Today is also our appointment to go see our hall to make our final food choices, pick out the linens, bar choices, etc.  Super excited.  :)

Rest of the week will be working on flowers when I get home from work each night.  I didn't get nearly as much done while recovering as I thought I would.

And Saturday is my second fitting.  :)
  • My weekend was ugh. I'm back at work after having 4 out of 5 days of last week for being sick.

This week I need to call the music guy at our church and figure out things with him.

I also need to buy all the little things to finish up our invites, ribbon, stamps, ink. etc.

Noticed this morning that the first thing was purchased of our registry. Yeah!! Not sure who though because only a few people knew we registered and were.

  • This week is thankfully calm. I've started the search for brooches for my bouquet, so I'll be hitting up a few antique stores! Friday I am meeting up with one of my BMs, I'm also a BM for her wedding so we are going to look at bridesmaid dresses and see if we can narrow down ideas.

Hopefully carpet will be installed this week in our master bedroom and we can move back into it by this weekend. :) We finally finished painting and ripping out the old carpet so now we just have to wait patiently for it to arrive!

  • Not the best of weekends.  Went over to Dan's and was saddened to hear that Jane (one of the goldfish we had purchased in May 2011) and died during the night.  We had just transferred her and Tarzan to a bigger tank on Saturday.  Dan had wanted to get a few more fish so we went out and got three more.  We were about to add them to the tank when we noticed that Tarzan had passed.

So now they are resting in peace in the Clinton River....

The 'kids' we adopted are Flo, Darth Vadar and Spot!
  • Things are coming together planning-wise. This week I need to actually send off the day-of stationary stuff and finalize that contract. I spent last week writing up the various items, so I think I'm finally ready to get that off. Also need to look into the limo and make a decision about the stupid shuttle.

We're also getting RSVPs, so that's exciting and my first shower is on Saturday!

  • Just got a call from my OB/GYN - my Vitiamin D is 18 and my doctor wants it to be at least 40.  I now have to take 50,000 mg a week for eight weeks!
